Attendance at the Fair was obligatory for specialists who need to be up to date with the latest trends in the sector.

Novelties, including first showings in the materials’, raw materials’, machines’ and software sections were presented by a record number of over 170 exhibitors.

The Competition Committee, chaired by Prof. Jan Chłopek, awarded the KOMPOZYT-EXPO ® Prize to the best products:

  • WROCŁAW UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, Institute of Materials Science and Applied Mechanics for a composite pontoon,
  • BALTAZAR KOMPOZYTY Sp. z o.o. for Atlac premium non-styrene resins, Producer: DSM COMPOSITE RESINS AG,
  • THE INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY for multi-blade cutting plates produced with the use of the FAST/SPS method.

The Committee also recognized:

  • MILAR Sp. z o.o. for a T92 SEALX impregnated foam, Producer: AIREX AG,
  • SILESIAN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, Faculty of Materials Engineering and Metallurgy for the development of a composite pistons production technology for air compressors,
  • LERG S.A. for ESTROMAl 11.A-01 – resins enabling the production of composites with increased filling content while maintaining good mechanic properties.
